Junior and Family Roundups are open for registration! Visit our website www.guidedhope.org for details. We are getting ready for our guests with our Wrangler Volunteer Horsemanship Clinics. This past Saturday started with a cold rain, but that didn’t stop our amazing volunteers from coming out for training! We’re grateful God is providing rain for our hay crop. Fortunately, the rain let up in time for us to practice outside. More trainings are planned if you’d like to apply as a Wrangler Volunteer. Details are on our website. TWINS! Clover had her babies on Sunday night, one of each 🙂 Help us with names that start with “C”….We’ve had Cassidy, Corduroy, and Captain in the past… More pictures soon! They are already jumping and playing! 🙂 Such a beautiful blessing! Little Valient, born April 26th to Violet, is pictured in our Wrangler Clinic pictures. He’s growing so fast!
Girl Scout Blessings
An incredible weekend of activity at Guided Hope, starting with a wonderful blessing from a local Girl Scout troop! Many thanks to these girls for their generous support of Guided Hope so that we may continue to serve children and families in our community! We enjoyed having them out for chores and fun 🙂
Welcome, Valentino!
Violet, one of our Nigerian Dwarf does, had a beautiful baby buckling! Valentino, Italian for “brave,” arrived Tuesday night. He weighs about 5 pounds. He’s cuddled in with mom to stay warm during our April snow showers. Although it’s chilly, we praise God for the moisture for our hay field and our new arrival!

It’s time to get the Guided Hope garden planted! Our dirt is tilled and ready for our team to start. Sign up to volunteer with other “Green Thumb” Ranch Hand friends to serve our guests with your gardening skills! Wrangler Horsemanship Clinic!
New and returning Wranglers! We are having a Guided Hope Horsemanship Clinic on May 14th, from 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. Registration is required. To apply as a new Wrangler, click on “Be Involved” for more information or contact Kaarin at 303-717-8372. This class will be a fun day of fellowship with other volunteers while reviewing our GH policies and procedures, role playing scenarios with children and adults, discussing our summer schedule, and training those new to horses about safe horsemanship practices. We ask that you plan to commit to serving with at least three Roundups this summer. We hope to see you there!

Bring your whole family for a summer Roundup! Come and learn about the animals on our working ranch, horse back ride, wheelbarrow race, and serve by doing needed ranch chores together to keep Guided Hope running for future guests. Details may be found under “Guest Roundups,” on our website.
2015 Guided Hope News
We hope you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and are anticipating an exciting New Year! 2015 marked Guided Hope’s second year serving families experiencing loss, military service, adoption, medical hardships, and others desiring to strengthen their families through work, riding, and play on the ranch! We are grateful for a safe, productive, and blessed year.

We welcomed new volunteer Ranch Hands of all ages who served in ranch maintenance during our weekdays, while our Wrangler volunteers provided guests of our Roundups memorable days of fun, encouragement, and hope. We will be offering a Horsemanship Clinic for new Wranglers this spring!
Two “Open Ranch Day” events were offered to the community this year, on May 2nd and November 14th. Together, we hosted 200 people for animal fun and country games. Thank you to a number of volunteers who made these events possible!
