Live Nativity Celebration 2022

We LOVED celebrating the birth of Christ at our 9th annual Live Nativity on Sunday! Over 300 guests enjoyed our re-enactment of the Christmas story in English and Spanish! They were also able to meet and interact with our Animal Ambassadors including baby goats, rabbits, mini horses, donkey, and llamas. We are grateful for the tremendous help of 85 Guided Hope volunteers who assisted with set-up, animal care, cookies, costumes, hay hauling, sound, acting, and so much more. Thank you to Calvary Church for the space and DJ Maestro for the sound! Merry Christmas, everyone!

We are THANKFUL for our Animal Ambassadors!

We are blessed that everything from small, fluffy tailed rabbits to muscular, bright-eyed horses call our ranch home. God entrusted these animals to our care and we are grateful! Being surrounded by His creation is good for the soul! We are thankful for our adorable Animal Ambassadors.

“For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer” (1 Timothy 4:4-5).

Volunteers, we are THANKFUL for you!

Volunteers, we are THANKFUL FOR YOU!

Wranglers, you care for our guests of all ages by sharing hope and encouragement on and off the ranch. You introduce our multitude of Animal Ambassadors, complete chores together, and offer fun and safe experiences with our horses.

Ranch Hands, you complete hours upon hours of chores and special projects. You care for our critters, tend to our landscaping needs, stack hay, prep and paint, organize the boot barn, serve with small groups, complete Eagle Scout projects, and much more!

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:17).

That’s a Wrap on 2022 Roundups!

That’s a wrap! We enjoyed a fun day of learning and laughing together at our last Saturday Roundup! Thank you to all our Wranglers and Ranch Hands who volunteered their time and talents to bless children and families in our community. You made our 2022 Roundup season one of the best ones yet!

Caramel is Back!

Caramel, our mama Alpaca-Vicuna, has returned to Guided Hope after a few years of enjoying life with her donkey friend. Caramel is Liberty’s mom. She had Liberty on July 7, 2012, which made her the first baby to be born on the ranch! They are excited to be reunited after all these years!

Both of Caramel and Liberty have beautiful fiber coats. We have blankets of raw fiber, roving, and hanks of yarn for sale! All proceeds go to our Guided Hope programs. Cocoa is our guard llama who roams the ranch protecting our critters from coyotes and other predators. Our “camelids” also double as “camels” for our Live Nativity in December! Their favorite treat is Equine Senior if you’re at the ranch for a visit.

Roundup for Foster and Adoptive Families

We have a special place in our hearts for foster and adoptive families. On Saturday, we cared for our sweet Animal Ambassadors, rode horses, and mucked stalls. At the end of the day, being “king of the dirt pile” ended up being one of the boys’ favorite things! We were thankful to have leaders from Colorado Kids Belong and Little Willows Clothing Boxes join us for this beautiful day on the ranch. We appreciate all they do for foster families in our community!

Grateful for Eagle Scouts

We are grateful for Eagle Scouts! On Saturday, Joshua and his troop landscaped Guided Hope’s office entrance for his Eagle Scout Project! With the help of his hard-working Boy Scout Troop and their parents, Joshua created a beautiful outdoor space for our staff, volunteers, and guests to enjoy! A BIG thank you to everyone who assisted with this job, and congrats to Joshua for completing his Eagle Scout Project! We are so proud of you!
