Live Nativity Celebration 2022

We LOVED celebrating the birth of Christ at our 9th annual Live Nativity on Sunday! Over 300 guests enjoyed our re-enactment of the Christmas story in English and Spanish! They were also able to meet and interact with our Animal Ambassadors including baby goats, rabbits, mini horses, donkey, and llamas. We are grateful for the tremendous help of 85 Guided Hope volunteers who assisted with set-up, animal care, cookies, costumes, hay hauling, sound, acting, and so much more. Thank you to Calvary Church for the space and DJ Maestro for the sound! Merry Christmas, everyone!

2021 Live Nativity!

It was a joy celebrating the birth of Christ with everyone who attended our 8th annual Live Nativity on Sunday, December 12! For the second consecutive year, we took our Animal Ambassadors on the road to Calvary Church in Longmont. Over 180 attendees were able to meet and interact with our 18 Animal Ambassadors, including goats, chickens, rabbits, sheep, mini horses, and more! With the help of our Guided Hope volunteers and animal actors, we re-enacted the Christmas story for the community with narrations in English and Spanish. After the performance, refreshments were served, including hot chocolate, apple cider, and cookies.

Over 100 amazing volunteers offered their time to share the Christmas story with the community! We are beyond thankful for our volunteers and the ability to put on this annual event. Merry Christmas!

Sharing Loss and Celebrating Hope

We hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!  We are reflecting on an amazing year of Roundups serving hundreds of children, adults, and families and eager to share stories in our end of year news.  We are grateful for volunteers and financial donations that keep our programs free of charge and look forward to 2019!

We have two important things to share with you.

First, we are grieving the loss of our beloved Butterscotch.  At 31 years of age, he lived a full, wonderful life, serving hundreds of kids who have learned to love, trust, hope, and find encouragement under his care.  We will have a special memorial blog dedicated to him.  Please share your Butterscotch pictures with us to include!   I cry as I write these words as we miss him so dearly.  Thank you, Lord, for giving him to us to launch our Guided Hope Roundups years ago.

Secondly, we invite you to celebrate at our annual […]
