Unfortunately, "A Horse for Kyla," a portrait by Jim Slavik, founder of Do Good Art, inspired by our Guided Hope horse, Parker, was not selected as the American Cancer Society's 2026 Artist of the Year.
Even so, we are incredibly grateful for this journey. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and support this special piece. You helped honor Kyla's story, and throughout this process we've had the privilege of sharing her journey with so many people. The conversations this artwork has inspired have been a beautiful reminder of God's faithfulness and the hope He continues to bring through every season.
