All are welcome to attend. We expect that all leaders and participants abide by our ranch rules of conduct. We serve all children, teens, and families whether they have experienced challenging circumstances or simply wish to strengthen their families through shared time and serving on the ranch. We do reach out to families going through grief, military service, foster, adoption, and medical hardships, but all are welcome who wish to come. We desire to share God’s amazing creation and the saving hope we have in Jesus Christ. Grandparents and extended family are welcome, also.

Yes, if you have a friend that would like to join your family for the day for a Family Roundup, he or she is welcome. However, a child’s parent/guardian will need to be present for any horseback riding. Please bring a signed note by the parent/guardian giving permission to the attending adult, along with the GH Liability Release form signed by the parent/guardian. We encourage the whole family to attend as they are able for the unique benefits of a shared experience together.

Our activities revolve around work, education, play, and service! You’ll have the chance to feed goats, groom horses, pet rabbits, collect eggs, and more. Everyone is encouraged to contribute to the growth and upkeep of the ranch, including tasks like cleaning pens and doing yard work. We may also have family team-building games and time for reflection on the day's shared experiences. Each participant will work alongside a volunteer to ensure a safe and positive "Round Up" experience. See our programs page for more details

Although we offer horseback riding as one of our activities, those seeking a class to specifically focus on their horseback riding skills would be best served at nearby riding facilities.
-
Our focus is not specifically on animal rescue, but we are open to adopting healthy animals into our program, based on funding and space. If you have an animal you feel would fit well into our ranch, please contact us.

We ask that everyone wear jeans and closed toed shoes. We have cowboy boots of all sizes available to borrow, as we require them for safety around the horses, and for a riding heel. Please bring socks. Helmets are also provided to use for horseback riding. We recommend layers for changes in weather.
-
We strongly recommend bringing sunscreen and bug spray during the summer months, along with a labeled water bottle and a hat. It's also a good idea to pack a sweatshirt, jacket, and a change of clothes for your trip home. And don’t forget your camera!

Guided Hope is founded on the Christian principles of faith, hope, and love. The name reflects our deep desire to be guided by God, His creatures, and the compassionate support of our community toward a place of hope in Christ.
As Psalm 25:4-5 reminds us:
"Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long." -
Guided Hope is a faith-based program, though it is not affiliated with any specific religious group or denomination. Our beliefs are rooted in Judeo-Christian values.
The Founders and Board of Directors firmly believe in a Sovereign God and the saving grace of His Son, Jesus Christ. We are committed to serving God by demonstrating our faith through actions. At the ranch, faith is shown through the “living example” we set for those we work with.
It is our greatest honor to serve children and families from all walks of life, offering the same loving grace that has been so freely extended to us.
