How can I help?

  • Join Our Wrangler Team at Guided Hope!

At Guided Hope, our “Wranglers” play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience on the ranch. We’re looking for men and women - teens, adults, and seniors - who are passionate about serving others while working alongside our guests. As a Wrangler, you'll have the opportunity to engage with guests one-on-one, guide them through chores and service projects, help with horseback activities, and enjoy country fun. While previous horse experience is helpful, it is not required—we provide full training!

If you have a heart to serve Christ and encourage others, we invite you to consider applying for the Wrangler position. Please take a moment to review our “Statement of Faith” under the “About” section of our website to see if you feel called to join us in this meaningful work.

The Process to Become a Wrangler:

    1. Submit a volunteer application.

    2. Complete a personal interview with our Program Assistant, who will match your interests and skills to the ranch's needs and schedule training.

    3. Commit to serving as a Wrangler for at least six Roundups this year.

    4. Pass a background check (at no cost to you).

    5. Sign a liability release form.

    6. Attend Wrangler Leadership Training

Wrangler Leadership Training: This specialized program is designed for teens and adults who want to develop leadership and safety skills while learning how to serve and have fun at the ranch. During the training, you'll engage in chores, learn about the animals, practice horse safety, grooming, and basic skills, and participate in a group Bible devotional. For teen Wranglers, we ask that a parent/guardian attends the first hour of training, though they are always welcome to stay for the duration.

If you're ready to get started, apply online, and our Program Assistant will reach out to you with further details!

  • Join Our Ranch Hand Team at Guided Hope!

Our “Ranch Hands” are vital to keeping the ranch running smoothly. Whether helping with daily chores or tackling special projects, your time and skills make a big impact. If you have a particular skill or talent you'd like to offer, be sure to mention it on your application.

    Ranch Hand Opportunities:

    • Monday Men: We’re looking for men (adults and teens 16+) who are ready to share their skills with the ranch, assisting with shop projects, mechanical repairs, and general facilities maintenance.

    • Saturday Servers: Men and women (adults and teens 16+) are needed for various tasks including landscaping, conditioning tack, painting, and general cleanup to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.

    • Barn Team: Help us with morning or evening chores needed to keep our animals happy and healthy. This is a great family opportunity, usually taking only about an hour, once/week. Training will be provided.

We encourage families to volunteer together! Many of our daily tasks are completed by parents and children working side by side. While we welcome volunteers of all ages, please note that we do not offer childcare. Volunteers are responsible for supervising their children at all times while on the ranch. Children 13 and older may volunteer independently with prior approval from both their parent/guardian and Guided Hope.

    How to Get Involved:

    1. Complete and submit the volunteer application.

    2. Our Volunteer Coordinator will reach out to arrange a tour and interview.

    3. Sign a liability release form upon arrival at the ranch.

We look forward to having you join us! Thank you for your heart to contribute to the meaningful work on the ranch!

  • Volunteer as a Group at Guided Hope

We’d love to have your group volunteer at Guided Hope! To get started, please complete the Volunteer application, providing details about your group, such as the number of participants, their approximate ages, and any specific skills or talents your group would like to offer. Whether you’re a small team or a larger group, we’ll work to find a meaningful project that fits both your group’s strengths and the ranch’s needs. We typically accommodate groups of 2 to 25 people.

    How to Get Started:

    1. Submit the Volunteer application, and indicate that you’re applying as a Group Volunteer Leader and the name of your group.

    2. Each participant will need to sign a liability release form upon arrival at the ranch. (If any participants are under 18, their parent or guardian must sign the release prior to arrival.)

We look forward to partnering with your group and making a difference together at the ranch!
