Goats, Goats, and More Goats… No Kidding!

We welcomed Clover’s sweet doeling to the world on March 20 at 12:30 am. She was our first new arrival of spring 2022. In our long-standing tradition of matching kid names with the doe’s first letter, Clover’s new doeling was named Cora. She is growing fast!

Cherish had twins in the early hours of May 7. Feliz took the prize on Mother’s Day when she gave birth to triplets at 4 am. Feliz had one boy and two girls. It was a long couple of days of late night kidding, but we are thankful for five new blessings! It is a joy to sit in the straw and hold our sweet baby goats!

A Wonderful Saturday

The last Saturday in April was an exciting day on the ranch! In the morning, we received a thoughtful donation from a kind young man and his coworkers! Then, we had a successful ranch cleanup. In the afternoon, we wrapped up the day with our first Wrangler training of the year with some eager volunteers. Thank you to everyone who donated their time and/or provided a financial gift to Guided Hope that weekend! We appreciate you!

Summer Wrangler Volunteer Opportunity

Teens and adults, we need you! If you would like to serve ranch guests at our upcoming Roundups while working with our sweet Animal Ambassadors, click here to complete our Wrangler Volunteer application. We would love to talk to you about what it means to be a Wrangler at Guided Hope!

We are so grateful for the Wrangler trainings we completed this spring and the servant-hearted participants who made it all possible! We love our Wrangler Volunteers!

Thank You, LifeBridge Student Ministry!

Students and leaders from LifeBridge Christian Church blessed us with their time and talents on April 16! They repaired and prepared our office building for new paint inside and out. Thank you, Ranch Hand volunteers!

Ranch on the Road to Marshall Fire Evacuees

We were invited to bring hope to Marshall Fire evacuees and community volunteers in January. Without hesitation, we accepted the invitation to serve our neighbors to the South whose worlds were recently turned upside down.

Our Wrangler volunteers and Animal Ambassadors brought smiles to the faces of Marshall Fire evacuees and community volunteers on January 12. It was a blessing to see our goats, chickens, mini horses, and rabbits comfort people of all ages. No matter if they were being hugged, held, or groomed, our animals loved spending time with the sweet people in Louisville! We were honored to partner with LifeBridge Christian Church and Ascent Community Church to make this outreach event possible!

Join Our Animal Sponsorship Program

Our Animal Sponsorship Program is an exciting way to partner with Guided Hope! June is the month of our yearly hay buy, so this is a great time to sponsor one of our beautiful horses! Jet, Parker, Rio, and Scout are Guided Hope’s ranch geldings (pictured above, from left to right).

Partner with Guided Hope in caring for your special horse at the ranch! Be sure to put the name of the animal that you would like to sponsor in the comment box at payment time. We offer llama, goat, and rabbit sponsorships, and monthly donations for our Guest Roundup operational needs to help us keep our programming free of charge.

Below are our sponsorship packages for our special horses:

Horse Sponsorship: Cowboy/Cowgirl
$100 per month covers the average feed costs of each horse.

Horse Sponsorship: Buckaroo
$50 per month covers the average vet and farrier costs for each horse.
